Reeldar collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and we run no server that your searches pass through.
What the app sends, and to whom
To answer a search, the app talks directly to these services:
- TMDB (The Movie Database) gets the text you type, to find titles and people, and serves the posters and photos.
- Movie of the Night gets the title you pick, to return where it streams and what it costs.
- Prime Video: for a Prime Video row, the app reads Amazon's public page for that title, so Open can land on it.
Each of these sees an ordinary request from your device, including its IP address, and handles it under its own privacy policy. When you tap Open, the streaming app takes over; tapping Get opens Apple's App Store.
What stays on your device
- Your recent searches and the services you marked as yours.
- Availability results, kept for 24 hours so repeat searches are quick.
- Any API keys you enter, in the device's Keychain.
None of it is sent to us. Clear recent searches in Settings, or delete the app to remove everything.
Beta testing with TestFlight
If you test Reeldar through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares with us the name and email address you were invited with, and any feedback, screenshots or crash reports you choose to send. We use these only to improve the app, and never share or sell them.
Children
Reeldar is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
